  2. Is the qualifying for finals an average of 56% from 5 boards if one board is under 56% but if you add the total of the 5 boards you get an average of 56+%?

    1. Correct, once you reached your 56% threshold and a minimum of 5 completed Qualifier games, you're already qualified.

    2. If you have one tournament score below 56% but you average 56%+ for the five do you qualify? Or are you saying all 5 tournaments must be 56% ?

  3. So there is 40 tournaments and u gonna score just 5 best from that 4 days am i right ? and u need to have >=56% right ?

    1. Hi Sood,
Once you sign in to BBO, please go to Competitive > All Tournament > search for the word "Olympic", you'll find 10 tournaments of it, please choose one of them and click "Play Now".
You can play as many as you can. 🙂

  4. Shall I play minimum 5 tournaments per day? Or in any day if I play 1 tournament and score above 55% is this enough?

    1. Hi Ozgur,
You can play as many as you can but you need to play at least 5 games to be ranked for the final round. Your best 5 tournaments need to be 56% or higher to continue to the final phase.

    1. Hi Susan,
Please try to re-login and register again for the tournament. Make sure your internet connection is good, too. 🙂

    1. The title, 'Bridge Olympic eSports Week International Champion' will be awarded to the player with the highest score/percentage in the overall rankings.

  5. Dont quite get the relation between tournaments, games and boards. What is min and max number of boards in qualification?

    1. No, you cannot expose boards that have not been played by the other participants while the session is still in progress. Given that it's daylongs, it means you can only post about today's hands, tomorrow, after the games are completed by all players.

  6. The scores in the "qualifying phase" play no part in the final score, other than determining who is eligible to participate in the finals? In other words, the finals are determined solely by the average of the highest four (out of eight) games in the final?

  7. Login..Competitive..All Tournaments...
Scroll through listed toutnaments... I don't see anything listed with a name anything like Olympic Esports.
    Search for 'Olympic',,no results?

Is there no registration? Will the tournaments only appear from the 19th?

  9. It says: "and to win a trip to Marrakech to play in the World Championships (includes flights and accommodation)".

Question from me: What world championship events does the winner get to participate in?

When BBO ran events before the World Mind Games in Beijing, I won it two years in a row. However, I was not allowed to participate in any of the World Mind Games events, including the individual.

  10. Americanish world championship is a teams event. If you win the esports qualifier, does that mean you win flight and accommodations for your entire team?

    1. Hi Bernie,
Apologies for any confusion caused. To clarify, the prize of flights and accommodations to Marrakech is only awarded to the overall winner of the Bridge Olympic eSport tournament. It is a singular reward for one individual. 🙂

    1. Hi Judy,
