Thank you for your patience while we worked on a solution for your free, private tournaments. We also want to thank you for the time and effort you put into organizing tournaments and bringing players together on BBO. We greatly appreciate your contribution to the BBO community.

TBF clubs that also operate a face-to-face club in Türkiye can now set up free tournaments on BBO that players with a Basic membership can join without using any of their daily free deals.

Your tournaments can have more than 6 boards. Basic members who join a tournament set up as described below can play the entire tournament, even if they have already used their daily free deals. The boards they play in your tournament will not count toward their daily limit.

How to set up your tournament

Please use the BFAE tournament type in your tournaments settings:

1. Click Create tournament.
2. Go to the Entries tab.
3. Enter BFAE in the Type field.
4. Once you have completed the Entries tab, fill in the rest of the tournament settings as you normally would.

Please restrict your tournaments

Free tournaments can fill up quickly. We recommend restricting your games so that the players you organize them for have a chance to register before all available seats are taken.

You can restrict your tournament by Friends, Country, Language, or use an Include list to specify which BBO usernames can register.

If you leave your tournament completely open, other BBO players may register and fill the available seats before your intended players can join.

Please note that for these free tournaments, your tournament Type is BFAE and there is no entry fee, so leave the Price field at zero. Some of the features specific to paid tournaments are also not available in free games.
