Free Pairs Tournaments | ACBL World Pairs | Ben & Friends Robot Individual
There'll be 3 free tournaments throughout the day, the tournament chat is open and everyone is invited to share limericks, puns, jokes and participate in fun contests. Everyone is welcome to play and remember, it's free to enter!
Free tournament schedule:
10am New York Time (15:00 Paris): Pairs, Matchpoints, 10 boards, 2 boards per round
3pm New York Time (20:00 Paris): Pairs, IMPs, 10 boards, 2 boards per round
7pm New York Time (0:00 Paris): Pairs, IMPs, 10 boards, 2 boards per round
How to join the free tournaments:
You'll also be able to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in the ACBL sanctioned pair games. Players participating in any of the pair games in ACBL World games on March 17 will have the chance to win random BB$ prizes. A surprise BB$ gift will be awarded every 10 minutes throughout the day.
Furthermore, the trusty TDs will be hosting quizzes and contests whenever time allows, adding to the festive atmosphere.

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with an innovative bridge experience in "Ben & Friends - St Patrick’s Robot Individual." Discover the blend of the classic game of bridge with our experimental AI bridge engine, named ‘Ben’ (Bridge ENgine).
Game Format
Join the adventure and explore our latest experimental AI bridge engine variation. Get an insight into AI Bridge development and play against Ben, an AI bridge player trained on 100 million deals played by people in our ACBL sanctioned games on BBO. Ben plays a variation of 2/1, closely related to the usual GIB System.

Hi, you're almost correct! For our events, partnership desks will be available when the registration opens. For the free St. Patrick's Day tournaments, it opens 24 hours before the start time. As for the ACBL World Pairs, it typically opens about 2 hours before the start. If you prefer finding a partner in advance, you can also visit BBO forum here. Hope this helps!

Hi, for the Free St Patrick’s Day Pairs Tournaments and Ben & Friends - St Patrick’s Robot Individual are just for fun and doesn't offer any points or prizes. Meanwhile, the ACBL World Pairs: St Patrick's Day Celebration does offer ACBL points, BBO points, and the chance to win BB$ surprises during the games. There will be giveaways and fun quizzes during these ACBL games.

They aren't in the Virtual Clubs section.
- For the free St. Patrick's tournaments, it'll be available 24 hours before the start time. Go to the Competitive section and click on Free Tournaments.
- As for the ACBL World Pairs, click on ACBL World and select any pair game on March 17.
- Then, for Ben & Friends tournament, you'll find it in the Robot World section.
