Prepare for a spectacular year-end bridge tournament – 'New Year's Countdown 2023' is coming soon. Join friends on BBO for the final weekend of the year, and bid farewell to 2023 with cards, camaraderie, and celebration.
There'll be a massive free robot tournament for EVERYONE on the last two days of the year, and special ACBL sanctioned robot daylongs to 'bridge' over the holiday season. You'll be finishing the year on a high and starting the new year in style! Read on for details.
This is going to be a great big free tournament, open to everyone. It's a robot tournament, so you don't need a partner to play.
Register now, so you're all set to play your boards over the last weekend of 2023, from Saturday, December 30 until Sunday, December 31. It's Matchpoints with 12 boards, and on top of all that it's free to play.

Do I have to do anything besides click the red button "Register Here"? I click it and it takes me to the regular sign on (to BBO) page, but doesn't ask for my name, etc.

Today is 12/25/23. I have Just tried to register for the NLM part of the end of the year tournament and cannot get through. It keeps knocking me off line. Surely all of "us" who have replied to your invitation cannot be wrong. I'd really like to play in your tournament.

Am I missing something? I don’t see a difference between the New Year ACBL daylong tournaments vis-à-vis regular daylong tournaments.
One of the ACBL Daylongs is for lifemasters only, it will be a more competitive field for players who enjoy a stronger game. The other one is for non-life-masters only. The NLM one uses sayc basic instead of 2/1.
