Terasak began by losing a heart lead to East's K. The opponents subsequently played two rounds of diamonds, followed by a club that he won with the ♣A. Next, Terasak played a small spade from dummy to the ♠A and continued with a spade to the dummy's ♠10. He then cashed the ♠K. Following this, he played a diamond and ruffed it in his hand. He then cashed all his remaining spades, while the opponents discarded their hearts. This maneuver allowed him to promote his heart tricks and made the contract up 1. In this case, given that East doubled South's 2♠ bid, it can be inferred that East holds fewer spades. So, it makes more sense to finesse the spade suit against West, as Terasak did. This decision earned him a score of 88.75% on this board.
