  1. Ellen had the same question but no answer. I have sent emails in the last month but didn't get a response. So, here's my question; 4 ladies have been playing casual bridge for several years every Thursday AM.

Do ALL 4 members have to pay $5.98/month or can ONE designated lady pay each month for the group. We are only on BBO from 9-11 AM and all retired. On the promo, BBO states that you create a table but you are not allowed to unless you do premium. I think you should take a look at the wording for basic. I found the chart was more descriptive.

    1. Hi Deborah,

I’m sorry you haven’t received a response to your earlier emails. To answer your question, you don’t all need Premium to play together. If one of you has Premium, she can create a Social Bridge table and invite the other three players to join as guests. The other three can remain on Basic.

With Basic, players have 6 daily deals in eligible games. When a Premium member invites guests to her table, their deals don’t count toward their daily limit.

Also, thank you for your feedback, I’ll pass your feedback along to the team. 🙂

  2. the be a substitute button when there are lobby messages abt this never are easy to find. please make it easier. ty

  3. I would welcome pairs events between open and 0-1500 in a regular game, not Clubhouse. How about 0-3000, for example.

  4. Hi Dan,
I put $50 into Bridge Base a while back as I thought I needed to pay to play. Now I DO need to pay to play, and I wonder if I can use that $50 to do so going forward.

    Thanks so much,

  5. I agree with earlier comments about bots getting worse. Often the bid description of the bots bid makes no sense at all and when play starts the bots hand is verifiably not what their bids described. Makes one think the bots may be fixing the game. Can the bots bids be made to accurately describe their bid? I don’t think it improves a players skill to bid against bots that inaccurately describe their bids

  6. I have long been a member of the Palatinus Bridge Club, and the club’s manager, Ms. Mezei, informed me that this automatically entitled me to Premium membership. However, on September 26, BBO revoked my Premium membership, which I was only able to restore by paying $9.99 (incidentally, their previous correspondence had indicated a cost of $5.99 for the year). I request that, in light of my Palatinus membership, my Premium membership be renewed in the future at no additional cost.

  7. how do i pay for someone's bbo fee? i invite and they want me to patoy and i am willing to pay please tell me how do i do that - pay for both of us?

  8. I would like to know what you folks will do to address dishonest play in casual games.
Obviously, there is an incentive to address these problems in titled matches in those awarding master points, but there are a number of players where it is obvious dishonest play occurs in non-sanctioned play--- I believe this serves to tarnish the game and serves as a chilling effect to limit the appeal of the game to new or beginning players in particular but to all players in general.
It seems that the individuals who do seem to have help feel that they would be punished or sanctioned for this behavior.
Is there a reason why EDGAR cannot be used to assess bidding and play decisions in casual games, particularly involving those parties for whom multiple complaints have been made with respect to their lines or play or strange bidding decisions that would seem highly improbable to be made without having unauthorized information?

  9. Please, please, can they implement Bulter scoring. If we can get the top and bottom comparisons eliminated from the social tables, this will make the scoring make much more sense. It will reduce the impact of 7ntXX hands that plague the room.

  10. Mate, if you really want us to pay and play (for the sake of your platform's profitability), maybe you'd like to "do a deep dive" into why the bots on BBO are getting worse over time.

Fix it, then we'll think about spending

  11. Have you ever tested your changes on mobile screen. Even the new login page does not fit on screen without scrolling and this has been so for years now.

  12. Have you ever tested your new changes on mobile phone? Even login screen is scrollable, and this has been for years now.

  13. This is not complicated. Per myriad bridge players complaints (cf: ACBL bulletin editorials) THE BBO BIDDING NEEDS TO BE FIXED: IF THIS WILL COST PLAYERS MORE $ TO DO THEN RAISE FEES AND FIX THE SOFTWARE, WITH AI BBO CAN DO.

  14. If I pay $5.98 per month, may 3 friends who are limited income play with me
? We started playing together during the pandemic. Two members have moved,so we have continued our group.
    Thank you, Ellen Hunter

  15. If I pay 5.99 per month, may I play with 3 friends who don’t pay? They are on limited income and can’t afford the monthly fee.
We started playing BBO during the pandemic when we couldn’t play in person. Two members have moved, so BBO is perfect for us to continue playing together.
    Thank you,

  16. The new system is difficult when trying to invite someone from the list. It is hard to stay on one name and as a results have invited persons that was not indicated.
