Hi Ted, right now, every BBO player has a complimentary Premium period so they can try out the new membership features. The length of the free period depends on your account and can be from one month up to a year.
You will not be charged automatically when the complimentary period ends. If it ends, your account simply goes to the free Basic plan. If you'd like to be Premium, you can choose to upgrade at that point.
