Annie has been part of BBO's Accounting & Customer Support team for six years. Living in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, she enjoys helping players, staying active, and ending her days with a walk by the marina. We asked Annie about her work, her hometown, and what she enjoys most about being part of BBO.
Tell us about you, where are you from, where do you live now, and what does a regular day look like for you?
My name is Ana Laura, but everyone calls me Annie. I am from Mexico and live in Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur. I am a proud mom to a tabby cat and an Australian Shepherd. A typical day for me includes work, the gym or some kind of workout, and an evening walk to the marina with my dog. I usually end the day with some reading. I love staying active and learning new things.

What are you working on BBO? How long have you been working for BBO, and what keeps you interested?
I work in the Accounting and Customer Support department, and I joined BBO six years ago, around the time the pandemic began.
If you could describe BBO in three words, what would they be?
I would describe BBO as social, strategic, and engaging. What keeps me interested in my job is that there is always something new to learn, a problem to solve, or a player to help.
What’s one fun fact about yourself?
A fun fact about me is that I am blessed to call home the place where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez. Cabo San Lucas is one of the most beautiful beach destinations in Mexico, known for its stunning ocean views and unforgettable sunsets.
If you could leave one message for the BBO community, what would it be?
you for being part of a place where bridge players from around the world can connect, compete, learn, and share their love for the game. We are grateful for your passion, your sportsmanship, and the energy you bring to the game every day.
Hello
Why was I removed from the game by the host. I finally got a good hand to play and was surprised I was removed after the first winning play
Thank you
m y chat function does not work
I have a friend who cannot play on BBO any more. He has tried to correct the issue but BBO customer service has not helped him regain the ability to play on BBO. All other computer functions work; only BBO is fouled.
Hi Annie -
A problem: I play solitaire bridge and for the past several weeks the board (screen) disappears, unprovoked, at odd moments - usually after I finish one hand
I am not very accomplished at navigating so this is the first opportunity I have had to report this.
Thanks for any help,
Walter
My problem is pop up ads that interfere when others get them when playing. Help
Looks like you are still allowing players from Russia. Shame on you.
Hi, BBO is a global platform that welcomes bridge players from around the world. Our focus is on providing a place where people can enjoy the game together while following all applicable laws and regulations. 🙂
