Among 2,066 players in the ACBL Spring 2026 NABC Robot Individual (February 21-23), Josh Rosenbluth from Eugene, OR, claimed the NABC Title, winning this prestigious 3-day event.
“I joined BBO during the pandemic (thank goodness for BBO!). After a bit, I started playing in the Robot tournaments with only modest results. But after I looked at how the consistent winners were successful, I realized playing against the Robots is far different than playing with and against humans.
You need strategies that work specifically against robots, in both bidding and play. Since adjusting my approach, my results improved, and I was able to hold my own against Expert and World Class players who I can't hold a candle to in human play. This time around, I got the lion's share of breaks which was enough to put me over the top.
I took up bridge in college. In my freshmen year, my circle of friends played Hearts and Spades. But, we promised to take a step up and learn bridge over the summer. My parents gave me a Goren book which used 4-card majors. For the next 35 years, I played sporadic social bridge. After retiring, I dove into duplicate at the Harrisburg Bridge Club (Pennsylvania) where my mentors taught me so much that I had been missing. I have since been a member of the Ventura Unit Bridge Club (California) and now the Emerald Bridge Club (Eugene, Oregon).”
A surprise winner, Josh was not in the Top 3 after the first two days, posting strong scores of 67.73% and 73.32%. A standout 76.71% on Day 3 propelled him to the top of the overall leaderboard, earning the title along with 48.00 Red & Gold Masterpoints®. A fantastic finish, well done, Josh!
A familiar name on the podium, Yauheni delivered a strong performance throughout, scoring 73.61% on Day 1 and 75.59% on Day 2 before finishing with 65.69% on Day 3. A well-earned second place.
Jim put together a consistent three-day performance, with scores of 70.60%, 70.36%, and 69.16%, securing third place overall.

Hello, I signed up to play in the NABC Robot invitational but the cabin that I was staying in (skiing) didn't have good internet and so I was unable to play at all.
Could you please refund my $45.
Hi Elizabeth, please contact support@bridgebase.com to help you with the refund 🙂
