
The ACBL Summer 2025 NABC Robot Individual has come to a close, and after three full days of online bridge, we have our winners:
David Smith (Leftfoot), from Lafayette, CA, finished on top with a huge 71.36%, earning 48.00 Masterpoints®, and the prestigious NABC title. Well done David - you're now sitting proudly in the NABC Robot Hall of Fame with the other past champions!
David had a remarkably steady run throughout the event. On Day 1, he came out strong with a 74.76% game, it's the second-highest score of the day. He kept that momentum going with a solid 67.83% on Day 2, then closed out the event with a brilliant 71.48% on Day 3. That consistent performance helped him edge ahead in the final stretch and take the win.
Jim Munday (jmunday) from Albuquerque, NM claimed second place with 69.32%, and also had the top score of Day 3 with a standout 76.84%. Well done, Jim!
It was a close race! After Day 2, Piotr Klimowicz (piotrk) from Edmonton, AB had taken the lead, and he remained a top contender through the end. Piotr finished third overall with 68.95%, it's a great achievement in a tough field.
While in Flight B, Sarik Goyal (rick853) from Jersey City, NJ finished first with a final score of 66.96%, earning 32.00 Masterpoints®. Bin Ge (bgbrier) from Brier, WA led Flight C with 62.72%, taking home 24.00 Masterpoints®.
