Celebrating the Spooktacular Success of Tricks & Treats Week!

It was great to see you turning out in force to celebrate Halloween with our lovely and dedicated bridge community. Thanks to everyone who joined the Tricks & Treats Week for making it a fun and memorable Halloween celebration.

Now let's see who managed to amass the most "wins" in our spooktacular Scratch Race during the Tricks & Tricks Week.

Congratulations to Ingrid (Besigheim) from Canada, as the true Spooky Scratcher, winning Masterpoints® in pair games 39 times in a week. That's spooktacular! Right behind Ingrid is C. SRINIVASARAO (CSRAO) from India, who won points 32 times. In the third spot are Myriam Milgrom (myrmil) from the USA and Arora (45881) from Iceland, both of whom racked up 31 wins.

A big round of applause for all the Spooky Scratch Race winners who displayed their consistency throughout the race. We promised prizes to top 50 leaders. However there were an impressive 21 players tied at 15 wins, and it was impossible to choose a tie-breaker; everyone was outstanding! The jury decided to award everyone the prize, which means there are 64 players in total who are each receiving a 20 BB$ prize.

  1. This is a good tournament for average bridge players. My partner and I are level 8 BBO players and find it difficult to compete against expert players. It is encouraging to be able to compete and win in this type of tournament even though we spent more in card fees than we won. The satisfaction of being able to win is an important principle. Hope you do something like this again.
