Metin Gokcen leads the Day 1 of April's Stars and Platinum

The famous Stars & Platinum Robot Individual tournament is underway, and it's already shaping up to be an exciting competition! The invitational tournament is restricted to BBO Stars and those with at least 5 ACBL Platinum Points.

Day 1 of the tournament has come to a close. Metin Gokcen (mgokcen) from Sunnyvale, CA claimed the top spot on the leaderboard with an impressive score of 68.61%. James Streisand (strei1) from Wayland, MA wasn't far behind, scoring 68.33% and securing second place. Jeff Fang (lakers1) from Rowland Heights, CA rounded out the top three with a score of 64.56%.

It's only the first day, and the competition is already heating up. Players will need to bring their best game to stay in contention for the top prizes.

You're playing 4 and West leads with the A, continuing with the K which you ruff in dummy. You then draw two rounds of trumps, ending in your hand. Playing a club to the ♣Q, East wins with the ♣K and returns a diamond which you ruff with the J. You continue with a club to the ♣10, which is won by West with the ♣A.
