The Final Day of Spring NABC 2023

The Spring 2023 NABC+ in New Orleans concluded on March 19. This event came to an exciting close, with players from all over the world displaying their best gameplay. The competition was truly remarkable, and it was inspiring to see the passion and dedication that each player brought to the table.

Stan Tulin's team won the Jacoby Open Swiss Teams by 0.47 victory points over Bart Bramley's squad. The winning team was made up of Dror Padon, Alon Birman, Louk Verhees Jr., Cornelis Van Prooijen, David Bakhshi, and Stan Tulin. Although each member of the winning team has multiple NABC titles, this is their first Jacoby Swiss victory. The winning team has won multiple NABC championships, but this is their first triumph in the Jacoby Swiss tournament. Congratulations to the second-placed team led by Bart Bramley, which also included Brian Platnick, Liam Milne (with son George), Andy Hung, Kit Woolsey, and Kevin Rosenberg.

Alex Perlin and Ljudmila Kamenova

Alex Perlin and Ljudmila Kamenova won the NABC+ Fast Pairs with an impressive score of 986.25. In addition to three NABC Robot Individual victories, it is Perlin's first national championship, while Kamenova has won three Marsha May Sternberg Women's BAM Teams titles. David Hoffman and Ken Bercuson finished second, while Harrison Luba and Jessica Larsson finished third.
