Congratulations to Piotr Bizon and Marek Blat of Poland, who scored 58.45% to secure victory in the Senior Pairs. Poland, have had a very successful series overall taking 4 of the 8 Gold medals available.

Piotr and Marek won several international tournaments in the '80s before taking a 12 year break from competitive bridge. At this time, Piotr was focusing on his research into blacks holes and the universe.
