ABA daylongs are the American Bridge Association sactioned variation of our popular daylong tournaments. Play at your own pace, leave the table, then resume the game later during the day without losing your results.

You can play every day, at any time, with games running for 24 hours. You see an estimated score after you finish, with the final results sent to you overnight via BBO-mail.

Game specifics:

• 8 boards, Matchpoints or IMP scoring
• ABA daylongs utilize advanced robots
• Once you begin, you have until midnight US Eastern Time to complete the tournament
• American Bridge Association masterpoints and BBO points awarded
• This game is stratified
• ACBL black masterpoints and BBO points awarded
• You sit South, and Advanced Robots sit in the other 3 seats

Results
Results will be sent to your BBO Mailbox, and can be accessed via the "History" tab under "Recent Tournaments", once the Daylong is completed.

Best Hand
You will be dealt the "best hand" (with the most high card points) at the table unless otherwise stated. Most players find playing with a good hand more exciting and fun!

Human Declares
You sit South, but switch North if your Robot partner is declarer so you can declare the hand. When the hand is over, you switch back to sitting south again.

Deal Pool
All players do not receive the same hands, as boards have multiple deals. This is to prevent cheating.

About the robots
The robots play a simple and natural 2/1 bidding system. Find out the meaning of a bid by clicking on it in the bidding diagram. When it is your turn to bid, hover your mouse over the possible bids and you will see an explanation of how your robot partner will interpret it.
