Tell us how you'd play the hands in the comments below, and follow our X account for more hands!
1. 10 of clubs, later underlead spades.
2. 4C, after 4D I will bid 4S.Then partner knows I need H cue. After 4H, I will bid 5D.
Stiff C lead
bid 4S
Opening lead: !cT (club ten).
Why? This is a singleton.
Bidding: 4!s (4 spade).
Why? There is a game, you have just one keycard. Partner will ask 4NT if he will need it.
In the words of many time Bermuda Bowl Champion Clint Eastwood, "Do You Feel Lucky?"
What you need to know is how much waste, if any, partner has in clubs. To my knowledge, there's no way to find out or get that message across.
YOu could have a grand slam opposite AKQx Axx Kxx Axx
or just game.
I would bid 4 clubs, but the next bid is a total guess.
1. !sA (Spade ace).
4. 4!d (4 diamonds)
1) 10c
2) 4s
agree pard may want to play in NT needs to know controls..I cannot tell by his bidding that he has 4 spades..maybe AKQ only
