You have the option to play MP or IMP scoring, with 30 minutes to complete your 8 boards. The thrill and excitement you get while playing these games is magnified by the fact that you get to see how the other players are getting on, with scores updated every time a board is finished. You don't need a partner to join as you'll be playing with an advanced robot partner, just like the other players at the other tables. Top finishers win BBO points and are automatically entered in the BBO Robot Duplicate Monthly Race for an extra chance to win BB$ prizes.

Three Tips for Success in BBO Robot Duplicates:

• At Matchpoints, take all your tricks, even when you think the hand is going to be a disaster; chances are everyone else landed in the same disaster, so take all your tricks. At IMPs, bid your games and make your contracts: with only 8 boards, missing a game will make a difference on your final score. This is a short game, so the other players might try to be aggressive and "swing" for tops.
• Understand the Best Hand concept. You have the hand with the most high card points at the table, so if you have 12 points for example, your partner will never have more than 12.
• All bids are explained automatically: read these explanations carefully, to avoid misunderstandings with your robot partner. You can read the GIB system notes here.
