    1. Hi, most of the games are open to all BBOers. You don't need to be an ACBL member to play the free pairs, free Ben & Friends, and other ACBL games that are not limited.

However, for the limited ACBL games and the ACBL Clubhouse, you need to have a membership. 🙂

  1. Why would anybody set up tournament during NABC (Toronto) days ? Just to make sure less players could play ?

    1. I believe there are still many BBOers who can't be in Toronto to play competitive games. BBO is giving you the opportunity to enjoy the fun of competitive bridge online. 🙂

  2. Hi everyone, this event starts on July 26. Registration opens 24 hours before the games, except for ACBL World and ACBL Clubhouse games, which are available daily. However, the Summer Bridge celebration with surprise gifts is only on July 26. 🙂

            1. I unable to entry my name. When I add my name message showing u are blocked. Now what is the process to put my name in tournament.

              Pl guide.
              Thx

    1. I’m looking for a partner, also. I’m an enthusiastic beginner. My handle on BBO is Texas2long if you’d like to look at my stats before you decide.

  3. Ben tabletimle oyunlara giremiyorum.Tabletim de bridgebase.com yüklü ve yakın zamana kadar girip oynayabiliyordum.Ne oldu da şimdi giremiyorum.Lütfen yardım.

  4. Thanks for the invitation, however I cannot find the tournament in the location you have indicated. I would like to register and play in the tournament so if it's possible could you register me or advise me as to how I can register myself. I did follow the instructions as specified, but no luck.

    1. I haven’t played in over 2 years. I used to play at Shakespeare elbows bridge club in the top section. I guess I need to practice before playing . Your opinion please?

      1. Hi Valentine,

You can try Bridge Master to practice your declarer play, as it provides solutions for each board to help you learn. BBO also offers free tournaments every day if you want to practice in a more competitive setting. Just log in to BBO, go to Competitive, and select Free Tournaments.

    2. Hi Bill,

The Summer Bridge events will take place on July 26.

For the free events, registration will be available at least 24 hours before the game starts, so you can register starting on July 25. You will be able to start playing on July 26 at 12:01 AM Central Time.

    3. Bill- I’m interested in playing with you. I believe we were at the same table last Monday evening (well afternoon for you). I play on BBO as Texas2long. My stats will show you that I am an enthusiastic beginner. SAYC

  5. I think it is counter-productive to offer a free bridge tournament during an NABC. Attendance at F2F tournaments has already been hit, and this just encourages players to stay home to play.

    1. Hi Debbie,

I understand your concern about online tournaments affecting F2F attendance. I believe the goal is to offer diverse opportunities for all bridge players, especially not all BBOers can attend in Toronto. BBO tries to balance both formats to support the bridge community. Anyway, the free events like this are held every month for occasions such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and Father's Day. 🙂

          1. I just played with "Ben". The bidding went not too well. For example: partner opens 1 diamonds, east passes, I with only two HCP have to pass and west passes. So it is 1 diamond, together 15 HCP. Maybe "Ben" will improve a bit?
