Jim Streisand Wins Stars and Platinum for the Third Time

The BBOers June Festival finished yesterday, so let's take a look at who came out top in the premium Stars and Platinum 3 Day Robot Individual.

Special congratulations go to Jim Streisand (strei1), from the Wayland, Massachusetts, USA, who claimed the top spot in this month's Stars & Platinum Robot Individual with an overall score of 63.72%. You might have read this article about him here, which covers his previous wins in the BBOers Festival - and this month he's finished on the top step of the podium for the third time!

Jim did well every day, with scores of 61.59% on Day 1, 60.47% on Day 2, and a fantastic 69.11% on Day 3. His consistent playing shows how good he is at this fun and challenging robot game. Just so you know, Stars & Platinum is a special tournament that only certain players can join – you have to be a star or have at least 5 ACBL Platinum points.

Arend Bayer (cherdano) from Storrs, Connecticut, USA, came home in second, closely behind Jim with an overall score of 63.09%. Alexey V. Gerasimov (avgera), the star player from Portugal took third spot on the podium, scoring 62.76%. It was a close run thing, with fine margins separating the winning players.
