  • Improved the way GIB handles restricted choice situations.
  • Fixed bugs relating to how advanced GIB runs simulations before making a decision.
  • Fixed an issue where GIB attempted a finesse when it could have claimed all the remaining tricks.
  • Other bug fixes and improvements

New Feature:

  • Claim Mid-Trick: As declarer, you are now be able to claim mid-trick for faster play.

We’re continuing to enhance your robot bridge playing experience on BBO. As you may know, in recent years, we introduced Ben and expanded the range of robots to include options that play multiple systems, such as Acol, SEF, and SAYC. Custom systems for GIB playing Precision and Basic SAYC are also now available through the BBO+ subscription.

We are committed to continually refining all bridge robots on BBO, including GIB, to provide a better playing experience.

If you notice an unusual behavior from our robots, you can report it directly using the Robot Report feature. For guidance on how to report them, please visit this page: How to Report a Robot Bug. You’re also welcome to share feedback, comments, or bug reports in the BBO forum here.

Thank you for playing, and we hope you find these updates helpful.
