We’re making a small update to the BBO homepage and menus. Before it rolls out more widely, here’s a brief preview of what you’ll see and where things are located.
The games and features themselves have not changed. What you’ll notice is a clearer organisation of the areas already available on BBO.
At the top of the homepage, the main ways to play and watch bridge are grouped together under Play & Watch Bridge. When you want to play or watch bridge, this is the primary starting point.

Tournaments
The Tournaments section, previously called Competitive, is focused entirely on organised competitive play.
Real time tournaments are grouped together, while flexible formats such as Daylongs and Instant Tournaments appear below. Robot tournaments are also located within this section.

Team Matches
Team Matches are now listed directly under Play & Watch Bridge. Previously located under Competitive, they are now easier to find from the homepage. The format and gameplay remain unchanged.
Social Bridge
The Social Bridge screen, previously known as Casual, highlights ways to quickly join or watch tables.

The structure remains familiar, with clearer shortcuts for seating and watching.

Below Play & Watch Bridge, Featured Areas highlights specific destinations on BBO. The primary addition here is BBO World, which brings together BBO’s original formats in one dedicated area.

Further down the page, the Rankings and Bridge Points area presents leaderboards and active races in a more structured layout.

All existing rankings remain available. The information is grouped for easier scanning.

Each main area now includes an About page explaining the features and menu items visible on that screen.

This update focuses on organization and clarity. The games, scoring, and formats remain the same. The goal is to make it easier to understand where everything is and how the main areas of BBO are structured.
