In 1969, a friend and I were invited to a local bridge club to try our hand at duplicate. We arrived early so the director could teach us movements, scoring, etc. It was master point night and much to everyone's surprise, we somehow came in second. I was hooked on duplicate from that time on and have played in local and regional games whenever I could. I love the game because it's made me many friends and I enjoy the challenge of the game. While no longer able to attend F2F games, I appreciate that BBO is there to allow me to continue the friendships and competitions.
