Daniel Weiser is a professional classical pianist who now lives in Savannah, GA. He is the founder and Artistic Director of AmiciMusic, a chamber music organization that he started while living in Asheville, NC and has since added series in Baltimore, MD and Savannah, GA along with occasional programs in Florida and Cape Cod. He also is Artistic Director of a similar series entitled Classicopia that is based in Hanover, NH. Dr. Weiser received his DMA from the Peabody Conservatory after spending one year at Harvard Law School at the same time as President Obama. He has a BA in History from Columbia University. He was the 1996 U.S. Artistic Ambassador of Music, which resulted in a ten-country tour of the Middle East and Southeast Asia performing American Classical music. He started playing bridge about 15 years ago, but became more serious once Covid began and online BBO bridge became easier to find. He loves the ease of finding BBO games, especially at all hours of the day since his musical schedule is rather erratic. He also loves discovering new partners to play with from around the world.
