Q: What is Grass Roots Gold Series?
A: Grass Roots FUNd is an ACBL initiative that BBO is proud to bring to ACBL World. Players support their district and become eligible for the promotion. The promotion features a Grass Roots Gold Series leaderboard based on eligible 18-board games. Play at least two eligible games to be ranked. There are three separate rankings, one for each game level: 0-499, 0-1500 and Open. Top players in each category receive bonus Gold masterpoints.
Q: Where does my money go?
A: All funds collected through the Grass Roots Fundraising form available in ACBL World during the promotion are passed in full to the ACBL, who distributes it to the ACBL districts, in support for Grand National Teams and North American Pairs events. Please note that regular game fees are separate and are not part of this entry.

Q: Do face-to-face or e-club games count?
A: This event tracks only 18-board pair games which take place in ACBL World on BBO. There is another, separate Grass Roots FUNd event dedicated to ACBL face to face and e-Clubs.
Q: What can I win?
A: Top players across each game category (0-499, 0-1500 and Open) win extra Gold masterpoint awards, computed when the event completes, on top of the ACBL points you earn in the game itself.
Q: How will the results be tracked?
A: Your best two scores in each game category are tracked, and players are ranked by the average of their best two results. Each game type has its own leaderboard and bonus awards.
