If you saw our earlier preview of the update, you’ve already had a first look at what was coming. Now the new design is available for everyone on BBO.
The updated tournament registration pages make game information clearer and more consistent across all formats, Individual, Pairs, and Daylong tournaments.
For example, on an Individual tournament registration page, you can see all key information in one place, including game details, restrictions, and the list of registered players, without switching between different screens.
At the top of each tournament registration page, you’ll find the main information about the game, including the entry fee, a short description, the number of boards, and the points awarded.
Below that, registration options, game settings, restrictions, and registered players are displayed in a clearer and more predictable layout.
Pairs tournament registration pages have also been improved to make it easier to find and join games with a partner.
The Partnership Desk has been significantly redesigned. It now shows more information about players looking for a partner and makes it easier to find a compatible partner without clicking through multiple usernames.
Daylong tournaments now have their own dedicated registration page, showing much more information than before. You can see a short description of the game, a link to more details, which robot is used, the system it plays, and other important settings, all before you start playing.
