Peter is one of BBO’s top performers in ACBL Pair games. He has earned more than 500 ACBL Points this year.

I'm a Vietnam veteran, thought I learned bridge in college, didn't really learn until I got out of the army. I still play with my mentor, Dean Starr, who taught me what I really needed to know and gave me my first bridge book.
I've worked in computers, been a tennis umpire, and worked as an ACBL tournament director for over 30 years - retired last year. Now I teach and play for fun. I'm somewhat amazed that bridge never gets boring for me.
I started playing on BBO during the pandemic. The best thing about BBO, for me, is the convenience. I still play face-to-face tournaments whenever possible. To me, the microcosm of bridge players is the most satisfying in the world. Added attraction: bridge players tell the best jokes.
