Cheryl is one of BBO’s top performers in ACBL Daylong games. Last year he had 20 points, and this year he finished at the top of the ACBL Daylong 5-20 point race on BBO by earning more than 167 points.
I began playing bridge in college on the floor of my sorority family room. Throughout the ensuing years I would play bridge from time to time with my sorority sisters when we would get together.
Two years ago, one of my college roommates (who is a life master) invited me to a bridge tournament in Palm Springs. I contacted a very serious bridge player and asked her about a teacher. She directed me to Honors Bridge Club in New York and I found a teacher named Jeff Badler. I spoke with him and told him I was planning to go to this tournament and I was not sure if I could even play bridge. We set up some private lessons and he found me to be a quick study. I have continued my lessons and playing sessions with Jeff and credit him with every one of my earned points.
I like playing online because I can do so at any hour of the day from anywhere.
