Challenges have been around for a long time, but now there are more options than ever before. What started as simple head-to-head matches has grown into a full-featured experience with new formats, BXP rewards, and exciting ways to compete. Here’s what’s new — and why it’s worth giving Challenges another look.

New Feature! Win BXP in Your Challenges

If you enjoy playing Challenge games against Robots, Stars, or Friends, you can now add a little extra excitement to your games to make it more competitive with the new BXP Challenge option.

Upgrade your Challenge to a BXP Challenge (0.49 BB$) to play with Advanced Robots and earn BXP when you win or tie.

New Game! Challenge Reward

There’s a new way to test your one-on-one skills: Challenge Reward. Play a short 4-board challenge against another player. Each player pays 0.10 BB$ to enter, and the winner takes home 0.20 BB$. Ready to go head-to-head for double the reward?

How to find:

From the BBO homepage, go to the Challenges section. 

On the Challenge screen, check the bottom bar and select Challenge Reward.
