The BBOers Festival Returns February 3-5

Get ready for three exciting days of bridge, as the BBOers Festival is back from Monday, February 3 through Wednesday, February 5. Whether you're seeking competitive challenges or just looking to have fun, you won’t want to miss this community event.

Games and Prizes

Country vs Country Championships

It's a big favorite. You play 32 boards, and have 3 days to finish them. Players are grouped by the country in their profile. There are thousands of players, and with a big field you've got the chance to win lots of BBO points if you do well.

Prizes: BBO Points, and BB$ prizes for the top 50 - top prize is 100 BB$.

Stars & Platinum Robot Individual

An elite tournament for BBO Star players and those with at least 5 ACBL Platinum Points. Features challenging, pre-dealt hands designed to test even the best players.

Prizes: BBO Points for daily top finishers, BB$ rewards for the top 3 every day and for those who finish in the top 10 overall - come first and win 100 BB$.

Robot 3-Day Survivor

Open to everyone, with free entry! Play over three days, surviving each round by scoring more than 50% to advance to the next day.

Prizes: BB$ prizes for the Top 3 every day, and the Top 10 in overall result.

Mini 3-Day Survivor

A scaled-down version of the 3-Day Survivor, designed for players with fewer than 1000 BBO Points. Free entry and open to newcomers.

Prizes: BB$ prizes for the Top 3 every day, and the Top 10 in overall result.

Daylong Reward Best Hand

This game is called reward tournaments as 80% of the fees go towards the prize pool and are paid back to the top scorers as BB$ prizes. You play 12 Best Hand deals with Total Points scoring.

Prizes:  BBO Points, BB$ prizes for top finishers

Just Declare Daylong Reward

Similar to Daylong Reward games but focused on declarer play. You play 12 pre-dealt hands with Matchpoints scoring and you don't have to bid.

ACBL Express Reward Individual

Quick 12-board individual games where you can win prizes by scoring 55% or higher. No partner needed, as you’ll be paired with a new partner each round, and everyone plays the same system. There are new games every hour from 10:20 AM to 10:20 PM.

Prizes:  BBO Points, ACBL Masterpoints®, BB$ if you score 55% or higher

Registration

  • Country vs Country and Stars & Platinum: Registration opens one week before play starts (January 27).
  • ACBL Express Reward Games: Registration opens two hours before play starts.
  • All other games: Registration opens on the first day of the festival.

Remember, these games are exclusively available during the BBOers Festival, held every first Monday of the month and running for three days. So be sure to block out your calendar for Monday, February 3 – Wednesday, February 5. Come along and win some prizes and above all have some fun with other players in the BBO community.
