The jam packed 2025 New Year's Countdown Bridge Event is almost here. Join friends on BBO for the final days of 2024, packed with cards, fun, and celebrations, starting December 28th and running through January 1st.
There’ll be two massive free robot tournaments for everyone, three exclusive holiday games, and a special year-end celebration for BBO+ subscribers, as well as top players, BBO Royals & Masters. It’s the perfect way to wrap up the year and start 2025 in style! Read on for all the details.
There are two massive free robot tournaments open to EVERYONE. You don't need a partner to play. Registration will open on December 27th, and the games will start from December 31st at 2AM ET, and end on January 2nd at 2 AM ET. Here what's available:
24 boards, Matchpoints, you have 48 hours to play your deals. Free to play! Registration opens as of Friday, December 27th and you can start playing as of Tuesday, December 31st.

Compete in a New Year's Countdown edition of the ACBL Flighted Pairs. Players are grouped into flights based on how many Masterpoints® they have, and pairs compete only within their own flight. Don’t worry if you don't have a partner, as the partnership desk is available.
Enjoy 12-board quick individual games where your goal is to score 55% or higher to win extra BB$ prizes, on top of the usual ACBL Masterpoints and BBO Points you can win in our ACBL-sanctioned games. You do not need a partner to register -- you will be matched with a new partner each round, and everyone plays the same system !
