Maxim Silin leads Stars and Platinum after day 1

The BBOers September Festival started yesterday, and one of the regular highlights is the Stars & Platinum Robot Individual. It's a monthly opportunity for top players to compete in a large scale, high quality game. This month with 1138 players, it's a big one; so let's take a look at the current standings.

Maxim Silin

After the first day, Maxim Silin (bigmax) from Boston MA, has taken the lead with a very impressive 68.07%. Even as a top player, things still get in the way of bridge (a common problem unfortunately!):

I am living near Boston, MA, a part of the USA with excellent local bridge clubs. Unfortunately, my work as an industrial scientist interferes with the full-time enjoyment of bridge.

Hot on Maxim's heels in second place, is Jingsong Liu (zilon) on 68.03%, and in third is Jenna Rivet (jennakaya), on 67.91%.

The leaderboard always sees significant changes from day to day, so it'll be interesting to see how everyone fairs on day 2. Check the newsfeed tomorrow for the next update.
