We're looking for a Bridge Teaching Content Editor to join our BBO Marketing team.

If you’re a bridge teacher and enjoy creating content to help people learn and improve their bridge skills, we’d love to hear from you. We’re looking for someone who has experience teaching bridge to a range of abilities from newbies to intermediates. You’ll need to have good writing skills and be able to structure online bridge content clearly to allow people to learn easily and methodically.

We’d need you also to be able to roll your sleeves up and add both your content and content by other bridge writers to our blog using WordPress.

You’ll need to be familiar with BBO’s games and features as we want to help our players learn and improve by using all the great games and tools available.

You will also need to engage with our players, on the BBO forum and on the blog. We have a very loyal community of players, and we always do our best to make BBO as good as possible to meet their needs.

If you love teaching bridge and have experience of creating bridge educational materials, then we want to hear from you.

This is a fully remote position.

Responsibilities

• Create fun and interesting bridge lessons and learning content  
• Publish content to WordPress
• Build a sense of trust and rapport with our loyal community
• Engage and respond to our readers comments in a timely manner
• Work as an integral member of the marketing team to ensure all content has a unified voice in line with the BBO brand
• Attend and actively participate in weekly marketing meetings
• Be creative and develop new learning content tactics and strategies
• Identify relevant KPI and build reports about your actions

Skills and Qualities

• You love teaching bridge and want to share your passion
• A good understanding of using social platforms, their content formats and culture
• You play bridge on BBO
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A strong sense of creativity
• A willingness to learn and master new techniques
