  1. The entry information for Pairs events is not clear. Is entry fee for two days for the Pair? Or, just for two sessions?

  2. Is there an online video chat setup for each TABLE to ensure that there is no cheating? It is unclear what is meant by “ACBL requires all players in all matches to have an ongoing video and/or audio chat with their screenmate.”

  3. On pairs event why you don’t have a game for non qualifiers
as Final B since you are charging for the 2 day event.
(It is done in most European tournaments)

  4. I think I am showing my ignorance here but what does it mean when it says "ACBL requires all players in all matches to have an ongoing video and/or audio chat with their screenmate." ?? We make sure that we do NOT have our phones etc near us when we play ... I know I am missing something here... ????

    1. Pls ignore my message....had I taken the time to READ the very clear info, I would have understood what this meant. lol THANK you for all of your hard work to enable us to still play bridge and participate in tournaments during this time of covid.

  5. Are the video and/or audio chats only required on team matches? or does it apply to pairs events as well? Thanks

  6. If I want to play in the -1500 pairs is it a combination of you and your partners master points or not? I am over 1500 but my partner is not. Which tourney do we play in? Alison

  7. I agree pricing is Outrageous!!

How about a flight tournament that's under 750 points for Someone who is a beginning player with only 100--200 points

  8. This looked real interesting until I read the prices. What a rip off in times of a pandemic. The experts will play but you priced novice and intermediate and many advanced players right out.

  10. Is there a delay between rounds during which one can set up the zoom meeting? If this has to be done while the round clock is ticking, are the rounds longer than the usual 7 minutes per board?

  11. i hope bbo and acbl will add server space and bandwidth to make sure those who dont participate will ba ble to play otherwise!!

    1. Hi Julian, I remember when you used to play with M. Patricia Hayes in Daytona. I'm June Vignati (Golfer7317 on BBO) living in Palm Coast.

      1. June. I used to live at Deltona when I played with Patricia. Abd had other partners after her, playing mainly in Deland) Now I moved to Tamarac, Broward County, near my daughter.
