📌 Each qualifier tournament costs 0.50 BB$ to enter.

Once this threshold is reached, the best scoring 5 tournaments will be used to calculate each player's average score and determine the BBO Bridge Olympic eSports Week - Qualifications ranking.
Players need to score at least 56% to qualify for the Finals.
At the end of the qualification phase, players who have completed at least 5 qualifier tournaments, and have an average score of 56% or higher move forward to the Finals.

📌 The finals tournaments are free of charge and restricted to players who have qualified during the previous phase.
📌 The finals are played without running scores. Each tournament offers a provisional leaderboard, but the overall rankings will be available at the close of play, on Monday, June 26.
All tournaments in the Bridge Olympic eSports Week event are played with robots, duplicate style. The player sits South, with robots in the other three seats at the table.
📌 This is an individual event, you do not need a partner to participate.
📌 The player declares for their robot partner when their side wins the contract.
📌 Players can use either the BBO mobile app or the BBO website (https://www.bridgebase.com) to participate.
📌 Players' IP address will determine which country they represent. If a country doesn’t have at least 10 players, the players will represent the “Rest of World”.

Conventions & Robots
BBO robots play a modified Two-over-One system. System notes and a convention card are available at https://www.bridgebase.com/doc/gib_system_notes.php. The robots sometimes deviate from this system if simulations lead them to other conclusions.
The robot’s understanding of what a bid means can be seen by hovering over the highlighted bid. When it is a player’s turn to bid, the player can see what robots think a bid means before making the bid. If the bid is not highlighted, it means the robots have no special understanding or definition for that particular bid.
Security
This event uses deal pools. Not every player will play the same boards. Each board will be duplicated a limited number of times.
Players are expected to refrain from communication with anyone else about the boards they have played in a session until the conclusion of the session.
Players agree not to misrepresent themselves and to not enter the event with multiple aliases.
Following each phase, provisional winners are listed, subject to manual review by an expert panel. The confirmed winner list for each phase and the overall event will be released after review, and the decisions of the panel are final.

Ranked players are awarded both WBF Master Points and BBO points.
