Just Declare Solitaire has an infinite number of hands where all contracts are makeable. There's total points scoring, with the highest scorers being listed on a leaderboard. It tests your declarer skills, and your challenge is to make contract.

Just Declare Solitaire is free to play and a great place to practice when you have a few minutes. It helps make choosing your line of play come more naturally during an actual game. The Just Declare Daylong is a competitive game, scored in Matchpoints. You compare your performance with other players to see who plays the hand best. The great thing here is that it's a very pure test of skill as everyone plays with the same cards and the same contracts.

You can get a feel for the Just Declare Daylong for free every Lundi and Vendredi, if you want to give it a try (Look for Just Declare in the list of Free Tournaments). And there's a premium one every day, awarding BBO points if you do well.

  1. Cannot stand these tournaments. Half of bridge is the bidding. Half of the remaining half is defending. Why keep promoting this dumbed down version of bridge?

  2. The leaderboard on Just Declare Solitaire is not very useful as it stands. For example we don't know how many hands were played to make the scores. Does the leaderboard get reset at some point?
