About the BIC Finals

The 2nd Edition of BBO’s Bridge International Championship (BIC 2) takes place place across several bridge platforms, in partnership with the World Bridge Federation, from Mars 29 until Avril 4, 2021.

Ranked players will be awarded both WBF and BBO points.

Finals: Avril 3-4 (Samedi and Dimanche)

For the Finals of this 2nd Edition of the BIC, there’ll be 6 BIC tournaments to play, each of 12 boards, Matchpoints, not best-hand.

Your best 4 scores count towards your overall ranking. You’ll have 48 hours to play your boards, from midnight US Central Vendredi towards Samedi, until midnight US Central Dimanche towards Lundi.

Finish top and you’ll be the BBO BIC International Champion of the 2nd Edition!

BIC Tournament features

  • Each BIC Final tournament is an individual tournament. All tables consist of a single human player, sitting South, with three robot players sitting in the other three seats.
  • All tournaments last 48 hours: they start at midnight US Central time on Vendredi towards Samedi night and end at midnight US Central on Dimanche towards Lundi night.
  • You can register, play at your own pace, leave the table, then resume the game any time, as long as you complete your boards before the tourney ends.
  • This tournament is not Best Hand.
  • This tourney utilises Human Declares: The human player declares for his robot partner when their side wins the contract.

Results
Results will be sent to your BBO Mailbox on Lundi, Avril 5, after the tournament ends. You can also see a provisional leaderboard at any time in the list of Completed Tournaments, in Competitive All tournaments, after you have finished playing.
