Play in the ACBL Silver Linings Week - May 24-30

Silver Linings Week is back!

How do I participate?

Simply play in your usual ACBL Virtual Club game during the week of May 24-30, Monday-Sunday. You’ll earn DOUBLE regular club points, which will be SILVER instead of black.

If you’re not familiar with ACBL's Virtual Clubs yet, it’s an online space on BBO just for your regular club. You can play your usual games with your friends and support your local club.

How does silver linings week work?

  • All games will pay DOUBLE regular club masterpoints, and the points awarded will be SILVER instead of black.
  • You do not need to do anything special to participate in these games; Virtual Club play is automatically included.
  • This is not a STaC (Sectional Tournament at the Club). There will be no overalls or combining of scores. It’s your regular club game with new, temporary conditions.

How do I find the games?

Click on “Virtual Clubs” on the main menu then “ACBL – North America” and look for your club.

This opportunity is only available to clubs that have created a Virtual ACBL Club on Bridge Base Online. If your club hasn’t signed up yet, it’s not too late! Club managers can fill out a short form to get started.

  1. I have some wonderful and amazing games for your USA enjoyment--send me a bbo chat with your full name, email, and bbo name--we have games for all masterpoint ranges--this silver week will be great. send me a bbo email sitter02--i will get u started--HI O Silver!!

  2. PLEASE never eliminate virtual games. They are so convenient for us ACBL members who are older

  3. How does someone who is an ACBL member, but has no specific club in the US, ever get to play in one of these? Please answer, this is my fourth time to ask this question.
Thank you. (Living in Switzerland, but I love to play in the US Regionals and Nationals-- whenever I can get there.)

    1. The best way is to log on to BBO and go to virtual games. Do a search? Find a game you like and time. Log on 30-20 minutes prior and look under details. Then you can send the director of that club a bbo chat with your online name, real name, and email address requesting to be added. I hope this helps.

    2. If you are unaffiliated with a US club, SRQ would welcome uou. Send a chat to vacb274886 requesting to be added to our group.
