ACBL World: ACBL Instant Tournament – Monthly Scratch Race
Here’s a new way to add excitement to your favorite games—the ACBL Scratch Races! Each month, the ACBL Scratch Race - Instant Tournament tracks how often you earn ACBL Masterpoints® in any ACBL Instant Tournaments played in the ACBL World area on BBO. No need to do anything special—simply enjoy your usual instant bridge fix, and we’ll count your wins.
How It Works
- Every time you earn points in any of the ACBL Instant Tournaments on BBO, it counts as a “win,” even if it’s just 0.01 Masterpoints.
- Your wins count toward two leaderboards: the ACBL Scratch Race - Instant Tournament and the overall ACBL Monthly Scratch Race.
- This race is all about enjoying your favorite instant bridge games while adding a bit of excitement along the way.
Where to Play
Go to the ACBL World area on BBO and click ACBL Instant Tournaments button. Or, use the Instant Tournaments menu on BBO’s home screen. Any of the games below count toward the ACBL Scratch Race – Instant Tournaments:
- ACBL Instant Tournament – Matchpoints
- ACBL Instant Tournament – IMPs
- ACBL Instant 100 – Matchpoints
- ACBL Instant 100 – IMPs
Prizes
The Top 10 players, based on the number of times they earn points in ACBL Instant Tournaments, will each receive 10 BB$.

Play any of these ACBL Instant Tournaments, and each time you earn points, they’ll count toward the Monthly Scratch Race. Other types of robot games or tournaments are not included in this race—but check out the other ACBL Scratch Races. There’s one for each type of ACBL-sanctioned game in ACBL World.
