The five weeks of online play lead here: a live final at the Fall NABC in San Diego on Wednesday, December 2, 2026 at 8:30 PM. Twenty qualified players sit down in person and play for the title.

How the final runs
One session decides both titles. Twenty players qualified across five weeks of online play sit down together at the Fall NABC.
One hour, 18 boards
A single round of 18 boards, played in one hour. One round, one shot at the title.
Howell movement, GIBBO partners
You meet each of the other finalists in turn, Howell style. You play with GIBBO, so every result comes down to your own decisions at the table.
On tablets, on BBO
The final is played on tablets, on BBO, with the same interface you used to qualify.
Awards ceremony
An awards ceremony follows the session. Winners are announced there, with prizes handed out in person.

Qualify
Finish in the top two of your flight in any week. You will be contacted directly with next steps and asked to confirm your seat. See the format page for the weekly cuts.
Plan your trip
Travel and accommodation are arranged and paid by each finalist. You will receive the venue details and a point of contact well ahead of the event.
Play the final
Join the live session on December 2 at 8:30 PM, stay for the awards ceremony, then enjoy the rest of the NABC.
