The Free NABC Practice is a free, two-day online event designed to help players prepare for the main NABC Robot Individual. It’s an opportunity to get familiar with the format, play with the same advanced robots, and practice your bidding and play in a relaxed setting before the main competition.

  • The practice event runs on Saturday and Sunday on the two weekends leading up to the NABC Robot Individual.
  • Each day has 12 boards, scored by Matchpoints.
  • Sessions open at 5 AM US Eastern Time and close at 5 AM US Eastern Time the following day.
  • Players must complete all boards before the daily session ends. Unplayed boards will receive a zero score.
  • To be able to play on Day 2, you need to play at least one board on Day 1.
  • Not all players will be dealt the same hands.

Players who place in the top 3 on either Day 1 or Day 2, or in the top 5 overall, will receive a free entry to the next NABC Robot Individual (which worth 50 BB$)

  • If a winner has already registered for the main event, the entry fee will be refunded.
  • If a player has already won a free entry from an earlier practice session, the prize will pass down to the next eligible player.

The practice event is a good way to get comfortable with the online format and the advanced robots used in the main event. It gives players a chance to test their systems, check robot behavior, and adjust to the pacing of daily sessions.

It's your ideal and flexible warm-up if you need something to practice and to keep your skill sharp before the face-to-face event.
